Posada Los Encuentros

You can find Posada Los Encuentros at the edge of Panajachel, touching on the indigenous neighbourhood of Jucanya. It is within easy walking distance of the town center and lakeshore. Our lodge is within an eclectic international community of people who have been drawn to the lake by its spiritual power. Many of them are valuable learning and healing sources.

Our activities include programs in Latin American culture, Spanish language acquisition, spiritual exploration and physical health. We collaborate closely with Mayan artists and artisans to provide visitor access to the intimate dimensions of their work, to include hands-on learning through weaving and art workshops.

Our facilities at Posada Los Encuentros include a relaxing lounge, a well-equipped fitness center, conference room, an informal bar, a wood burning sauna, a natural thermal water pool and a beautifully landscaped garden with ramada. Our garden incorporates a tutorial medicinal herb section that is the finest at Lake Atitlan.

 

We have established ties with volcano guides, native herbalists, shamans and other human resources of unforgettable personal adventures in the lake basin and beyond.
